In this guide, you will find how to delete a record in cPanel. The domain’s email addresses must be set up to use the local mail exchanger if a DNS zone is deleted in cPanel.

Let us follow the steps:

  1. Log in to your cPanel account.

     

  2. Select the “Domains” section.
  3. Click on the “Zone Editor” option.

     

  4. Select the Domain and click on the “Manage” button.

     

  5. Find the record you wish to delete.

     

  6. Click on the “Delete” button.

     

  7. It will ask you again whether you are sure or not. So, click on the “Continue” button.

     

  8. You will get a success message that the record has been deleted.
