How to give users compiler access using WHM June 7, 2022

In this article, you will find how to grant users Compiler Access in WHM. On a hosting server, C compilers are accessible only to the root user. However, with WHM, the compiler’s access might be extended for other purposes.

Let us follow the steps to give Users Compiler Access using WHM:

1. Log in to WHM.
   
2. Select the “Security Center” option from the left-hand side of the screen.
3. Click on the “Compiler Access” sub-option.
   
4. At the bottom of the box, click the “Allow specific users to use the compilers” link.
   
5. A new interface will open. Here you can add or remove users from the group.
6. Select the user and click on the “Remove from Group” button if you wish to remove it.
7. Select the user and click on the “Add from Group” button if you wish to add the user.
   
8. For both processes, you will get the success message as shown below-
