This tutorial will show you how to use  Softaculous software to reset the admin account password in cPanel.

Steps to use Softaculous to reset the admin account:

1. Log in to your cPanel account.
2. Select the Software category and click on Softaculous Apps Installer.
   
3. On the Softaculous page, select All Installations. 
   
4. Select the orange colour pencil symbol to modify the details.
   
5. Enter your username in the Admin Username field and your new Password in the Admin Password field.
   
6. At the bottom of the settings screen, click the Save Installation Details button.
   
7. After you receive the success indication, you can now log in to the software using the new password you created.
