When spammers create unwanted pages on your website, you can delete or remove them from MediaWiki. When you delete a page, it is not immediately deleted. If a page is accidentally deleted, MediaWiki removes it from the website. It is possible to recover deleted pages from the list of deleted pages.

Procedures for deleting a page

  1. Please sign in to “MediaWiki”
  2. Navigate to the page you want to delete.
  3. Click on the menu in the upper right corner of the page and select “Delete”
  4. The page will display a message asking if you want to delete “the name of the page”
  5. Select “Delete page”

NOTE- It’s worth noting that you can go back and restore the erased pages later. Although the pages are removed from the website, they can be restored if they were deleted by mistake.
