How to Enable Parent Paths in Plesk October 24, 2023

In this article, we will explain how to enable parent paths in Plesk. 

Many scripts rely on the ‘parent paths’ function. If your script generates logs with ‘ASP 0131 Disallowed Parent Path’, enable parent paths for your domain.

Follow these steps :

1. Log in to Plesk.
2. Click Websites & Domains.
   
3. Select Domain.
4. Click on Databases.
   
5. Select Directory Properties.
   
6. In the Application settings, check the box Allow to use parents’ paths. 
   
7. Click OK.
