A locale XML export saves the translation data for a cPanel and WHM locale. This guide explains how to download the file for backup or later customisation.
Download the locale
- Log in to WHM with permission to manage locales.
- Open Locales > Locale XML Download.
- Select the required locale from the list.
- Click Download XML and save the file.
- Check that the download completed and keep an unchanged copy before editing it.
Use the export
Downloading the XML does not change anyone’s interface language. Use the locale editing or upload tools for changes, preserving valid XML structure and encoding.
