This guide will illustrate the process of enabling the Application Manager in cPanel.
Note that before enabling the Application Manager, certain packages must be installed. Without these, the Application Manager interface will not appear in cPanel.
Follow the steps
Step 1 : Install the required packages
- Log into WHM.
- Navigate to “WHM > Software > EasyApache 4.”
- Click “Customize” next to “Currently Installed Packages.”
- Go to the “Apache Modules” section.
- Ensure the “env” and “passenger” modules are enabled.
- Check that:
- Click “Review.”
- Review the list of packages to be installed, removed, or upgraded.
- Click “Provision.”
Step 2: Activate the Feature for Users
- Navigate to “WHM > Packages > Edit a Package.”
- Choose the package linked to the user’s account.
- Select “Edit.”
- Verify that the “Application Manager” option is enabled.
- Click “Save” to apply the changes.
