How to Remove Redirection using .htaccess using cPanel

Follow the steps to remove redirection using .htaccess via cPanel:

  1. Log into your “cPanel Account”.
    Login to cPanel Account
  2. Search for the “File Manager” tools and click on the “Files” option.
    Go to "Files Manager"
  3. Once the dashboard is open, click on the “Settings” button. Go to "Settings"
  4. Tick the “Show Hidden Files” checkbox and click on the “Save” button.

  5. Now, open the public_html folder.

  6. Select the “.htaccess” file and right-click to “Edit” your file.

  7. You need to add “#” to the prefix of your https redirection code.

  8. Once you are done, click on the “Save Changes”button.
