How to Clear the Nginx Cache from WHM

In this guide, you will find how to clear the Nginx cache for the users from WHM. Nginx is an open-source software used for caching, load balancing, reverse proxy and serving the web. NGNIX is an open-source software for web serving, caching, load balancing, reverse proxy and more. It was first designed as a web server with excellent stability and speed.

You can install, uninstall, and manage your NGNIX using the reverse proxy and caching server using WHM’s NGINX Manager. With this interface, you can even control the cache on your server.

Important note- One must have WHM’s root access to hook up with the Nginx cache.

Follow the steps:

  1. Installing the “NGINX® Manager” should be done first.

  2. Find the “NGINX® Manager” option from the left-hand side of the screen under the “Software” section.

  3. You will enter the page of NGINX and here you will find two options, namely; “System Settings” and “User Settings”.
  4. Now, to Clear Cache-
    a) “System settings”-
    This option allows you to clear the cache of multiple users at a time. You just have to click on the option “Clear cache for all users”. That is it!

    b) “User settings”- This option has the choice of clearing the cache of individual users. Simply select the user and click on “Clear NGINX Cache”.

  5. You will get success messages for both processes as displayed below.
