How to add a subaccount in cPanel’s user manager September 19, 2022

This guide explains how to add a subaccount in cPanel’s User Manager. The subaccounts use the same login and password information for email, FTP, and Web Disk. Passwords for each service permitted by the Subaccount are synchronised.

Let us follow the steps to add a subaccount:

1. Log in to your cPanel account.
   
2. Select the “Preferences” option, then click the “User Manager” sub-option.
   
3. Click on the “Add User” button.
   
4. You will get a form, fill it up-
   1. Basic Information-
      1. Enter the “Full Name” of the user.
      2. Enter the “Username”.
      3. Select the “Domain” name.
      4. Enter the “Contact Email Address”.
         
   2. Security Information-
      1. Enter the password, or you can generate it using the password generator.
         
   3. Services-
      1. You can enable the “Email”, “FTP”, and “Web Disk” services.
      2. Click on the “Create” button.
