The following management agreement applies to any server installed with Enhance.

What Enhance Is
- Enhance is a modern hosting control panel designed to make managing websites, email and applications simple. Everything you need is accessed through a single, easy-to-use dashboard.
An Enhance server combines the performance of a VPS or Dedicated server with the convenience of a fully managed platform. We manage the server, operating system, security, patching and platform services so you can focus on your websites
Enhance provides built-in tools for websites, email hosting, DNS, backups and server configuration. Because these tools are fully integrated, day-to-day management does not require root access
Enhance is designed for consistency and stability. Customers receive user-level SSH access for site operations, but root and sudo access are not provided.

What Managed Means
- We manage the server infrastructure, including:
- Operating system maintenance
- Security patching and updates
- Firewall configuration and baseline hardening
- Platform upgrades
- Backup systems
- Network and resource monitoring
- You manage your applications and content using the Enhance control panel. This includes:
- Adding and removing websites
- Creating email accounts
- Installing and configuring CMS platforms
- Managing plugins, themes and code
- Creating databases
- Adjusting website settings
- Restoring backups
- This split keeps the platform stable while giving you full control over your content. Allowing unrestricted system level changes would compromise the reliability and security of the service.

Why Software Installations Are Limited
- Enhance includes a curated software stack that is known to be compatible, secure and safe for automated updates.
- Installing unsupported or custom system level software may cause instability, introduce security risks or interfere with platform updates.
- Because Enhance servers receive automated patches, consistency between servers is essential. Unsupported software would risk breaking future updates.
- If your requirements go beyond what Enhance supports, a traditional VPS or dedicated server may be more suitable.

Access and Security
- Customers are provided with:
- Enhance control panel access
- User level SSH access (no sudo privileges)
- Access to logs and configuration available in the Enhance interface
- Root or sudo access is not provided under any circumstances.
- Attempts to bypass or elevate system access may lead to suspension of the service.
- Access may be adjusted if we identify a security risk.

Default Software Stack
- Each Enhance server includes a standard software stack designed for modern websites and applications.
- The default installed software includes:
Web and Application Services:
- Apache (default web server)
- Nginx or LiteSpeed (available on request)
- PHP (multiple versions)
- PHP-FPM
- Node.js
- Redis (where supported)
Database Services:
- MariaDB (default)
- MySQL (available on request)
Email and DNS:
- Built in email hosting (can be disabled on request)
- Access to our central DNS cluster
- Additional system level software cannot be installed unless officially supported by Enhance.

Supported Operating System
- Enhance server is provided exclusively on supported versions of Ubuntu Linux.
- No other operating systems or distributions are available for this service.
- Customers must not install software that replaces or alters the underlying operating system or core packages.

What We Manage
- Operating system management, including updates, security hardening and kernel level maintenance.
- Core platform services, including the Enhance control panel, DNS cluster and email system (unless disabled).
- We monitor:
- Disk space
- RAM
- CPU
- Network connectivity and ping

Patching and Updates
- We apply patches and updates as part of the managed service to keep your server secure and up to date.
- Patching may occur at any time. Most updates do not interrupt services.
- Updates requiring a reboot are performed at 3am UK time.
- Reboots occur on a rolling basis throughout the week.
- Reboots cannot be delayed or individually scheduled.
- Emergency patches or reboots may occur outside the usual window when required for security reasons.

Software Requests and Safety Restrictions
- We install or enable supported modules where it is safe and compatible with the platform.
- Requests may be declined if the software is:
- Deprecated
- Known to be insecure
- Incompatible with Enhance
- Likely to reduce stability or performance
- Conflicting with the default software stack
- Unsupported by current PHP or platform versions
- These rules protect the stability and security of your server.
- If we cannot safely enable a feature, we will explain why and suggest alternatives where possible.

What Is Not Supported
- We do not support:
- Root or sudo access
- Installation of unsupported or custom system software
- Modifying the operating system
- Installing alternative control panels
- Kernel or sysctl changes
- Third party monitoring or security agents
- Fixing issues caused by unsupported software
- We also do not carry out tasks available through Enhance, such as:
- Creating websites
- Creating email accounts
- Installing CMS platforms
- Managing plugins or themes
- Creating databases
- Editing website settings

Backups
- Enhance automatically takes website level backups retained for 14 days.
- These backups include website files, databases and mailboxes.
- Server level or VM snapshots are not included or supported.

Backup Limitations
- Enhance backups operate on a best effort basis and cannot guarantee full restoration of data.
- Database backup integrity cannot be guaranteed if the database was under load or corrupted at the time of backup.
- Customers may use third party backup services for additional redundancy.

Migrations
- We assist in migrating websites to your Enhance server where valid credentials are provided.
- Migration is limited to applications compatible with Enhance.
- OS level, image based or root level migrations are not available.
- Some applications may require developer involvement.
- Migration success is not guaranteed for every website or application.

Maintenance
- Scheduled maintenance may take place from time to time. Notice will be provided where possible.
- Emergency maintenance may occur without notice when required for security or stability.
- Platform wide maintenance may affect multiple Enhance servers.

Customer Responsibilities
- You are responsible for:
- Website content
- CMS and plugin updates
- Application settings
- Email accounts and settings
- Databases
- File management
- User accounts
- You must maintain strong passwords and use two factor authentication where available.
- Your use of the service must comply with our General Terms and Acceptable Use Policy.

Application Level Security
- You are fully responsible for:
- CMS updates
- Plugin and theme updates
- Framework and library maintenance
- Application level security configuration
- Removing vulnerable components
- eukhost is not responsible for hacks, vulnerabilities or performance issues caused by insecure or outdated application code.

Service Limitations
- Enhance has defined technical and software limitations.
- Some features available on traditional servers may not be available.
- If your requirements exceed what Enhance offers, we may recommend another service.

Licensing
- Enhance uses a domain based licensing model.
- Your service includes a licence suitable for your plan.
- Hosting additional domains may require a licence upgrade.
- Domain limits are enforced by the Enhance platform.

Chargeable Work
- Work outside the scope of this agreement may be offered at additional cost.
- We will always provide a quote and time estimate before carrying out any paid work.
- Issues must be reported within 14 days of work completion.

Liability and General Terms
- This agreement forms part of your contract with Webhosting UK Com Ltd and must be read with our General Terms and Acceptable Use Policy.
- We do not guarantee the success of backups, migrations or third party integrations.
- Our standard limitations of liability apply.

Availability Target
- We aim to provide an uptime target of 99.9%.
- This excludes:
- Scheduled maintenance
- Emergency maintenance
- Customer errors or application issues
- Third party network problems
- This uptime target is a service objective and not a guarantee.

Updates to This Agreement
- We may update this agreement to reflect changes to the Enhance platform.
- The latest version will always be published on our website.
