The following article will demonstrate how to use cPanel\u2019s backup wizard to create a full backup.<\/p>\r\n

Backup Wizard is a feature in cPanel that allows you to take a full backup of your cPanel account with just a few clicks. Backups are very necessary if a system crashes or any failure occurs. Maintaining a backup copy is a great habit to get into. Also, during migration, backup is a must. Follow the steps to take a full backup:<\/p>\r\n

  1. Log in to cPanel.
    \"cPanel\"<\/a><\/li>\r\n
  2. Click on the \u201cBackup Wizard\u201d under the \u201cFiles\u201d section.

  3. You will enter the \u201cBackup Wizard\u201d, and here you will find three steps.<\/li>\r\n
  4. Click on the \u201cBackup\u201d option.

  5. It will ask if you want a full backup or a partial backup.<\/li>\r\n
  6. There are three options for backing up Home Directory, MySQL Databases, and Email Forwarders & Filters during a partial backup.

  7. You can see the backups available for download.<\/li>\r\n
  8. Then scroll down to \u201cGenerate a full backup\u201d. Select \u201cBackup Destination” and the \u201cEmail address\u201d on which you wish to get notifications.<\/li>\r\n
  9. You can tick the circle if you do not want an email notification of backup completion.<\/li>\r\n
  10. Finally, click on the \u201cGenerate Backup\u201d button.
