Filtering particular email addresses that enter into the server may be required while receiving emails on the server. With the User and Account Level Filtering, emails may be discarded, forwarded to another email address, or sent to a program. This article will walk you through the global and standard email filtering options in cPanel. Email filtering at the User and Account level<\/h3>\n

Filtering on an individual account level Open cPanel and go to Email > Email Filters.
\nFor global level filtering Navigate to the Email > Global Email Filters in cPanel.
\nEmail and email fillets may be found by searching for them.<\/p>\n

  1. Log in to cPanel.
    \n\"Email<\/li>\n
  2. Select your account and then click on you want to “Manage Filters”.
    \n\"Manage<\/li>\n
  3. To add email filters, click the Create a New Filter option.
    \n\"Create<\/li>\n
  4. Now, fill in the following blanks
    \n\"Filter<\/li>\n
  5. The new filter will appear in the list of filters when you return to the Edit Filters section. This is where you may change or delete the filter.
    \n\"Current<\/li>\n
  6. The filter may then be tested to determine whether it is performing as expected. To test the filter, modify the To: and From emails or the topic (depending on how you set up the filter) at the bottom of the edit filters section. Select the Test Filter option.

  7. The test filter will run and the results will be shown on the Filter Trace page. The message may be seen travelling to where the filter was set in the Filter trace results. The message was saved to the trash in this instance.
