To manage email disk usage, follow these steps:<\/p>\r\n

- Log in to your cPanel account.<\/li>\r\n
- Scroll to the EMAIL<\/strong> section and click on the Email Disk Usage<\/strong> icon.

<\/a><\/li>\r\n- On the Email Disk Usage<\/strong> page, select the email account<\/a> you wish to view from the Account <\/strong>dropdown list or type it into the search bar to search for it.

<\/a>When you have selected your account, its mail folders will be listed under Mailbox Name<\/strong>, as in the image above. At the side of these, you will be able to see columns for the number of messages each folder contains and the size of each folder.<\/li>\r\n- To free up disk space, go to the Actions<\/strong> column and click\u00a0Manage<\/strong>.<\/li>\r\n
- Under Messages to delete<\/strong>, there are several filters you can select to choose the emails you wish to delete. These are:\r\n

- 1 year old or more: <\/strong>Choose this option to delete messages over one year old.<\/li>\r\n
- 30 MB in size or more:<\/strong> Choose this option to delete deleted messages larger than 30 MB.<\/li>\r\n
- Previously viewed: <\/strong>Choose this option to delete messages that have previously been read.<\/li>\r\n
- All messages:<\/strong> Choose this option to delete all messages in the folder.<\/li>\r\n
- Custom query:<\/strong> Choose this option to search for specific messages, e.g. by age, terms in the subject line, etc.
Note: <\/strong>Custom query uses Dovecot search tags. You can find a list of these at \u00a0Dovecot\u2019s SearchQuery page.<\/em><\/li>\r\n- To permanently delete the messages, click Delete Permanently<\/strong>. Remember that following this action, emails cannot be recovered.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n
