In the last post we saw, “How to set your own Private nameservers“
If you have been wondering why you should use private nameservers, here is something you should know:
Some resellers choose to have private name servers for appearance reasons, meaning when one of their clients does a WHOIS check, it will show the nameservers of the reseller instead of the Hosting Companies nameservers.
Besides the “appearance”, when you decide to change servers or move host, you won’t need to contact all of your clients and request them to change to new name servers. When you change servers or move hosts, all you do is update the IP’s of your private nameservers. The domains begin propagating to the new server as soon as you update your name server’s IP addresses.
