If you would like to install Joomla manually on DotNetPanel, you will have to follow the procedure mentioned below.
Step 1: Download the Joomla installation file from the http://www.joomla.org/download.html, download it by clicking on the “Download” button.
Step 2: You can upload this file through FTP or the DNP control panel File Manager and unzip the file. For your information, if you upload the file to wwwroot folder, after the installation is completed, the file script will appear once you visit your website is http://domainname.com
Al alternative to that is creating a sub folder in your hosting account and upload the file in it. The Joomla installation will be accessible at http://domainname.com/subfolder
Step 3: Create a MySQL database for Joomla. Kindly refer to the link given below for creating the SQL database

Step 4: Open the URL http://domainname.com in the internet browser
Step 5: Select the language that you prefer and click on Next
Step 6: This will link you to the ‘Pre-installation Check” page and “License” page, then click on Next again
Step 7: You will see the “Database Configuration” page, insert the MySQL database detail that you create in Step 3. For the Host Name, you may check it in DNP control panel MySQL database there by click on the browse database, you will see the IP there. After filling it in, click Next
Step 8: At the “FTP Configuration” page, click “Next”
Step 9: When you see the “Main Configuration” page, fill in the details and click “Next”.
Note: If you are using Joomla for the first time, make sure that you install the sample data by clicking on – Install Default Sample Data
Step 10: Delete the installation folder by file manager or FTP, then click “Finish”
