Note:
To send email alerts from a Gmail account, you must enable the “Less secure app” option in Gmail, though this comes with some security risks. If this option is disabled, Gmail will block the application, preventing you from sending email alerts through MT4/MT5. We recommend turning it off when you no longer need to use email alerts.
How to enable less secure apps in Gmail:
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Select “Manage your Google Account”.
- Click on the “Security” option and toggle the “Allow less secure apps” to “On.”
How to set up email notification in MT4/MT5:
- Log in to your Windows Server.
- Open your MT5 account.
- Go to “Tools” and click on “Options”.
- Select the “Email” tab and check the “Enable email notification” box.
- SMTP Server: Enter your SMTP server details (e.g., for Gmail, use smtp.gmail.com).
