How To Deactivate WordPress Plugins From Database.

Many of the clients who use the free CMS WordPress use WordPress theme as well as WordPress plugins for multiple use. Many of the plugins get multiple errors. A user can easily disable WordPress plugins directly from the database. A user can easily disable all installed WordPress plugins directly from the website database just by making few changes. It is very useful when a client has some issues with the WordPress installation such as not being able to log in to the admin area and/or having blank pages. To disable all plugins, log in to phpMyAdmin and select your WordPress database from the menu on the left.

Login to your cpanel account or browse the table wp_options and find the option active_plugins. Step 2:- You will see a picture like a pencil icon, click the edit table. The content will vary, depending on what plugins you have enabled. For example, Akismet and Hello Dolly plugins is enabled in the dashboard, where as the code there will be as follows: a:2:{i:0;s:19:”akismet/akismet.php”;i:1;s:9:”hello.php”;} If you are ready to disable all the plugins you have installed in your hosting account, you have to simply delete the code and click the go button to save the necessary change you have made on your website.

The other option is to use the following query to disable all of your WordPress plugins:

You have to note that disabling these WordPress plugins will not remove them from your WordPress application. They will simply be deactivated. You can easily activate them from your WordPress admin area at any time.
