This post illustrates the process of creating a website with RVSiteBuilder. RVSiteBuilder is one of the most efficient and professional web site builder. It is specifically designed for those, who don’t have a website and also for the people who don’t have sufficient knowledge of programming to establish a website. It provides with various powerful features that simplifies the process of website creation. With the use of RVSiteBuilder, even the novice users or beginners can easily build their website having the best quality in seven easy steps. In order to access the RVSiteBuilder software, the user has to log in to the cPanel account.

You will have to use the cPanel user name and password that was sent to you in the welcome email when you registered for a web hosting plan. In order to login into your cPanel account you can also navigate to: This will display the login form given below:

Enter the login details and click on login, it will display the Welcome screen shown below:

Click on “No, I’m fine. Thanks!” in order to navigate to the cPanel account

Now, on the left side of your cPanel, enter ‘RVSiteBuilder’ in the Find box and it will display the RVSiteBuilder icon or scroll down and look for ‘RVSiteBuilder’ icon present in the ‘Software/Services’ section and simply click on it.

Once you click on the RVSiteBuilder icon, the following screen will appear.

This is the home screen that will display all the steps at the top of the page. From here the process of building a website with RV SiteBuilder starts.

Select one of the options shown in the image: Create Web Site, Create Blog or Create Photo Gallery. This post illustrates the process of creating a website. Once you click on the ‘Create Web Site’ option, you will be redirected to STEP1.

STEP 1 : Creating A New Website

On this page, you will need to enter the details shown on the image below. Also some check boxes are given – No Company Name, No Slogan and No Logo. If you do not want to enter any of these details, just check the box and the respective field will be disabled. Now click on the option – ‘Save and continue to setp2′ in order to move further. See the image given below.


STEP 2 : Select Template Style

On this page, a huge template list will be displayed on the left of the page and you can select the one you like among them. If you don’t want to choose a template from that list, then you can opt for any one of the two options given there: ‘Create DIY Template’ or ‘Export and Import’. If you select the ‘Create DIY template’ option, you can perform functions like creating DIY template layout, change body color, navigator color, header style and background of your website. See the image given below for both the options.


Once you have selected one of the existing template, you will be navigated to the third step.

STEP 3 : Select Your Web Site Style

In this step, you can modify your website according to your preferences, such as selecting a color and layout changes like changing header picture, editing the site wide blocks and embedding code, navigator position, font, moving company name and slogan. Once you are done with making the changes, click on Save button on the right. See image given below:


STEP 4 : Page Structure

In this section, you can select the web pages that you want on your website and then click on the middle Move button. Web pages – About Us, Products, Services, Portfolio, Order, Links and Contact Us. See image given below:


It is also possible to add the ‘File based components’ like photo album, online form, guest book and ‘Database based components’ like blog, faq, newsletter and photo gallery. In order to incorporate the database based components you will have to create a new database. This can be done by clicking on the “Create/Change Database” button present at the bottom of the page, this will open a pop-up as shown in the image given below:


When you select the first option ‘Create Database Automatically’ a database will be created automatically and if you want to create it on your own select the second option ‘Custom database configuration’. Once you have created the database, click on the Save button on the ‘Page Structure’ page.

STEP 5 : Website Content

On this page you can add content to the web pages you have selected in STEP4. In order to edit the web page content, two options will be displayed: WYSIWYG & HTML. Using WYSIWYG you can perform modifications like Formatting Text, Inserting JavaScript Code, Special Characters, Text and Image Hyperlink, Resize Image, Search and Replace (Design), Create Counter, Bookmark, copy data from MS Word and paste into WYSIWYG, Upload Document and Link to it, Create Table and border management, Add List, Insert HTML code, Upload Image and Image Properties. By selecting the HTML editor you will be able to edit the complete source code of the web page.


Once you are done with the modifications, click on the STEP6 option given at the top of the page.

STEP 6 : Web Page Title

Here the ‘Web Page Title’ can be edited that will appear in your browser. You can also add meta tags in order to improve your search engine rankings and get indexed, page effects and page name for instance –


STEP 7 : Publish Your Web Site


This is the last step, with this the website creation process is over, you can either select the website from the first drop down box or you can set the address by choosing the second option. For example : or Once you have finalized the layout, you may click on the publish button.
