I recently started to use Directory watch so that i could track changes on an account that had security issues.
This is a great tool but can lead to a lot of emails with big reports as i found out
the problem i am having with the site i am watching is that i am watching the public_html folder so i get a warning if a new file is placed there or if a file is edited in any way.
for the most part on many sites we host this is ok as in general not much changes, but..
the site i am watching now uses a cache folder also placed in the public_html folder so every time someone browses the site and simply looks at a page the cache folder is updated
So i tried to configure the csf.fignore file so that lfd would monitor the public_html folder but exclude the cache folder.... but i cant get it to work
the example shows this:
i have tried this:
i want to exclude the folder cache from the directory watch including all files and sub folders inside, can anyone supply the correct format for me please?
