Infrastructure Engineer
WHUK Ltd are seeking a skilled, highly motivated individual to join a Leeds based hosting and solutions provider. You will be responsible for ongoing maintenance and expansion of the company's public cloud platforms, developing and managing our network and server infrastructure and the delivery and support of bespoke solutions for enterprise clients, you will also be a role model for junior team members.
As a key member of our team, you will be required to have the enthusiasm and vision to drive our business forward and ensure we remain on the cutting edge of technology.
Key skills/Experience:
You will be working with the latest hyper-converged technologies so a strong background in networking, virtualization and knowledge storage principles would also be advantageous.
Experience with the following technologies would be desirable:

- A strong understanding of Switching and Routing
- Some Network Design and Architecture experience
- Some understanding of firewalls and storage
- Windows server 2008/2012 and 2016 and/or Linux
- VMware and/or Hyper-V clusters
Experience with the following technologies would be desirable:
- Fortinet firewalls
- MS exchange, Active directory, IIS
- Cisco, HP, Arista, Cumulus Linux switching
- DFS replication
- VMware, Hyper-V cluster
- ScaleIO, EMC Isilon, Storage Spaces
- Veeam, Mimecast, Backup Exec
- Office 365
- Any Cisco certification(s)
- Any Fortinet certification(s)
