What are client/server networks and who utilises them?
End-users, known as clients, use a client-server network to access resources such as files, songs, video collections, or other services from a central computer, known as a server.
The advantages of a client-server network include:
1. Increased network security
2. More control over network traffic going across the network
3. The ability to observe what each machine is doing and limit specific operations, as well as the amount of data storage available to each.
