    Hi,

My dedicated server at 213.175.220.230 has been down since 11.09GMT and its now 12.25 GMT.

    What is the ETA?

Also, what is the problem exactly?

An Air-Conditioning failure has disrupted service to 3 racks in Milton Keynes. The issue has now been resolved and servers are coming up again. If your server is still not online within 10 minutes, please contact us via live chat.

Please be advised that customers on non cloud VPS may experience several reboots over the next hour. Virtuozzo performs this task so properly stabalise the node after such a failure.

Server is down nearly two hours now and I have gone onto live chat and have been told now that my server has a faulty raid controller and is being replaced.

Kelvin: The DC engineers are still working on the server as I write.
Kelvin: The server is having a fautly RAID controller, which is being replaced.
Kelvin: I will update the support ticket as soon as your server is back online.

So i am not sure if my server is part of this issue or not, but two hours of downtime is killing my clients business.

            Hi Craig,

We extremely regret for the inconvenience caused to you. Your server RAID controller was failed because of an Air-Conditioning failure problem and it was get overheated. Our NOC engineer had replaced it quickly. Now your server is working fine.

            Thanks for your patience .

              Hello,

An Air-Conditioning failure outage was caused by human error from a third party contractor on site carrying out weekly pressure checks of the A/C system, which under regular circumstances are non-intrusive and not deemed ‘at risk’. Unfortunately on this occasion the sub-contractor did not follow procedures that are in place which lead to the automatic shut down of the system. As soon as this occurred, the sub-contractor, along with our on-site engineers reset and re-started the system.

Please be assured that full dialog has begun with the sub-contractor in question to understand why procedures were not followed by this individual at this time, and additional measures that can be put in place to ensure all engineers attending site are fully aware of the site procedures and their importance.
