so far 75% VPS hosted on this node have been restored. all vps's should get restored in next couple of hours.

We were aware of problems with this node, but we had limited options as our new Dell servers don't support CentOS 4.x and restoration of VPS's on a different version of CentOS is quite difficult.

So what is the default OS for a cpanel enabled vps now?

Linux CentOS 5 is the default OS for cPanel VPS.

cPanel control panel is best compatible with Linux CentOS.
