The iPhone and the other smart phones are dominating the market currently. I am hooked on to my iPhone myself for checking news and the social networking websites. In my opinion establishing a mobile version of the website will surely help in terms of reaching out to a wider range of people. It is true that you can access the existing website from the smart phones as well, however when people search your website on the iPhone, iPad Blackberry or any other smart phone, they will be greeted by a mobile friendly version of the website that will be easy to navigate.

In the tough and competitive world today, it is highly important to have a mobile friendly website that will make it easier for the people to browse. If you check the statistics of the incoming traffic to your website, you will come across the smart phone users as well. In my opinion, it is certainly beneficial to have a mobile website.
