cpanel license price

I see a different costing structure for cpanel on Virtual machine and different on dedicated servers. Can someone explain to me why there is a difference as it uses same license.

That's right. That's the way cPanel offers it on their website. Separate license cost for VPS and separate for Dedicated servers.

I was wondering of the same and came across this thread. I see the prices listed on cpanels website. different pricing structure for vps and dedicated servers. Do the features still remain same ?
