Is there anything bad that could come from having two reseller hosting accounts (and sites) that point to the same company? I am wondering if its possible to do this without any issues coming back to haunt me later.

However, you should make sure that you keep both of them independent when it comes to customers and the revenue they generate. I am curios to know why will someone need 2 reseller accounts? Will both of them be with separate names and not linked?

I am sorry, these reseller things are new to me. Does having two reseller account just mean that you purchase two reseller packages? If that's the case, it would be possible that you will need more than a reseller account when you get more clients and need more bandwidth and space than a reseller package provides.

Well, if you need more resources then you can just upgrade your reseller package to next higher level or can even go with VPS/Semi-dedicated, Cloud or even with a dedicated server depending on your requirements and budget.
