  • Should I register all the available TLD's for my domain name?

Just wondering if everyone here prefers to register all the available TLD's for their chosen domain name. I already have booked .com and .net. Should I also book the other available ones ? Thankyou

Yes, if the TLD's are available for registration, you can surely register the domains. Now a days domain registration is quite affordable. You can use them for additional branches of your business

Yes, you can book all required TLDs for your domain if your pocket allows you If it's an established brand name then try to reserve them before your competitor grab them...

Well, if you could afford the cost, it would be better to register the domain names to avoid domain squatting. At least you should register it with the popular extensions like .com, .net and .org.

It's a good idea to book the available & most popular TLD variations of your domain. Besides protecting it against cyber-squatters, another important reason behind this is to protect the brand image of your company/product.

I would love to have a domain name with all extensions available, but unfortunately it's not an option for domain owners with tight budget like me. Well, if I found a really great name, I would register the domain with .com, .net and .org extensions though.

This concern is only valid if your domain name is highly successful in the chosen field if not then its just money down the drain. If your domain name is not that popular then why should someone go and get the available extensions to replicate your domain name. On the other hand its good that you do not own the other domain extensions as the online marketing done for those may slightly benefit your domain name as well, but that's a rare case to happen.

Bingo! And easy to remember. I can not count the number of times people ask for a domain name and I ask how to spell it and no one seems to know the magic answer.
