FTP error

Hello,

I am really in a big problem, when I am try to create a new FTP account I am getting following error.

Error: Unable to update FTP account: Unable to create web user: Update FTP user failed: ftpmng --add-user failed: Empty error message from utility.

Now when I try to reset my old FTP password in plesk control panel 9.5 and the same issue, it is not allowing me to changes anything.

Hello Toby,

The reason of this error is that domain .security file is corrupted.

Backup the .security file located under %plesk_vhosts%\domain.tld\ path and run the following command from command prompt on the server.

websrvmng.exe --reconfigure-vhost --vhost-name=domain.tld

Note: replace domain.tld with the affected domain.
