    Status site

    Fantastic.

The whole point of having a status page on an entirely different server is so that info can be given on the server that is not working.

The url given (and the hyperlink) leads to a "Parking" page.

The web servers are still not working, FTP being impossible so web pages cannot be updated.

Come on UK Hosting. Get your act together or we will all be leaving you. And, having just renewed my contract, I shall be pursuing a refund for fundamental breach of contract. One week without being able to update is unreasonable.

I just telephone your company and an individual asked me to hold while he looked into the problem. He then cut the line. Having given my name and email address, he is able to find my phone number or email me. No such thing.

The service from this company used to be really good. Now it is really bad.

While I am at it, perhaps the genius (not) who set up this Forum could allow postings of URLs as they are important in a support forum such as this. Only after 5 posts are they allowed. Ridiculous. (And the page is formatted incorrectly.)

I feel I am dealing with a bunch of amateurs.

      Hello,

It was the DNS resolution issue which has been fixed now. You can access the status website whuk-status.com without any problem.

      Regards,
      Mary
      Support Department.

        Hi,

I am sorry you have been having problems with your service with us. Regarding the forum links, our forum is highly ranked and so spammers are often coming onto this forum in order to get backlinks back to their site which is why we have such restriction in place. You can post URLs if they do not contain the http:// prefix.

Regarding the poor level of service which you have described, I sincerely apologise for this. If you would like to e-mail me on [email protected] I will gladly forward ths onto John Strong, our Managing Director (who will get back to you) as it's not the sort of level of service I'd expect us to provide, nor to which is acceptable.

I do apologise that we were not originally aware of the DNS issue with the service status blog.

        Kindest regards,
        Ben Stones.
