What are the pros and cones of choosing windows shared hosting? What are things that need to be considered when you are thinking about this as an option for website hosting needs?

    Pros :-
    Low cost
    Good server administration
    Multiply e-mail, MySQL, PHP support
You don't need some unique knowledge in web site and server administration

    Cons :-
    Low security level
Resource limitation -everybody uses the same memory, CPU and HardDrive.
You can use only the software which is provided with your hosting company, and correspondingly you can't install your own.
Some available ports and connections can be limited because of security policy.

Also do not forget that Widows hosting is great because Microsoft has gone a long way with creating and updating tons and tons and tons of applications.

Building a stable application is vital rather then crowding market with new applications/editions
        Never been fan of Micro$oft

Cost should come under Cons. Windows Shared hosting is comparatively expensive than Linux Hosting plans. For many reasons, I would personally love to stick to Linux Hosting
