MS SQL Server 2008 web edition

We use Virtuozzo virtualization software to setup both Linux/Windows VPS. As of now Virtuozzo has no Windows 2008 templates available with them so we won't be able to provide you with a VPS on Windows 2008 OS but we can provide SQL 2008 Express edition with the Windows VPS. Apart from SQL 2008 Express edition we won't be able to provide you any other SQL 2008 edition with the Windows VPS because of limited resource availability. We strictly recommend dedicated server for SQL 2008 full editions.

Ah, I was looking at the Windows VPS - WinVPS STARTER package.

That one only had 2000 + 2005, and was quite a lot considering how cheap you can get the Web edition for.

We do provide MS SQL 2008 Enterprise edition with all our Shared Windows hosting plans and MS SQL 2008 Express/Workgroup/Standard/Enterprise edition with all our Dedicated Servers.

We have Windows Server 2008 Datacenter available on windows shared servers and we can provide you Windows Server 2008 Datacenter as well as Windows Web Server 2008 with all our dedicated servers.

I have a linux dedicated server with you at the moment, but wanted some cheap Windows hosting with SQL Server (not express).

I noticed you do not offer 2008 version and also there's no mention of the Web edition?

Web edition I believe is about £10 pcm to rent, see

Might be worth considering?
