PCI compliance,
Back up / storage

There are lots of Add-on which are available for different purpose. like AddonUpdates for auto update, clamavconnector for delete virus from mail, StatSelect, Cronconfig , etc.

Addons depend upon the hosting platform you choose. There are different addons for Windows and Linux Dedicated server.

Addons for Windows Dedicated server are:-

a) Operating system's license fee (The prices mentioned on our main page does not include any licensing fee).
b) MS-SQL license fee (If you need any version other than Express version).
c) Control panel license.
d) Plesk power pack license.
e) Additional RAM, Disk space or Bandwidth. RAID is also a addon if it is not provided as default with the server.
f) Cisco ASA Hardware Firewall.
g) R1 Soft Backup space.
h) AVG Antivirus.
i) Dedicated IP's (If required).
j) SSL certificate (If required).

Addons for Linux Dedicated server are:-

a) Operating system's license fee (License fee is only applicable if you choose RHEL).
b) Control panel license.
c) Additional RAM, Disk space or Bandwidth. RAID is also a addon if it is not provided as default with the server.
d) Cisco ASA Hardware Firewall.
e) R1 Soft Backup space.
f) Dedicated IP's (If required).
g) SSL certificate (If required).

If the firewall also fails, I would like to suggest you all that, Proxy Filed is an addon to protect your windows dedicated server, ain't it ?

Proxy shield is used when a user is experiencing huge DDOS attack. Hardware firewall is capable of handling around 100 MBPS to 1 GBPS DDOS attack. If the Quantity of DDOS exceeds 1 GBPS, then only a Proxy shield is recommended.

IMO we can also consider a back-up plan along with the dedicated server hosting package to secure your data in much better way. Though there are many backup plans which are available in the market which offers up to Gb of Free backup space with the dedicated server hosting packages, but if you have a large website, a user can place an order for any of the backup solutions as well.
