    If i manage to change RDP port from the default one will it ensure some level of windows dedicated server security ?
    In other words >> Changing RDP port will ensure server security ?

    Yes for the server security you can change the default RDP port 3389. There are many other ways to ensure the server security, out of which changing RDP port is one of it.

        Hello,

        Yes you can secure Windows server with the help of the following points:

        1. Changing default RDP port.
        2. Enable Firewall on the server.
        3. Change the RDP password. Make use of alpha-numeric characters.
        4. Install good Anti-virus on the server.
        5. Apply windows updates regularly.

          Here are few ways to enhance the server security:-

          * Change of RDP default port from registry.
          * Allow RDP access from specific IP addresses using Windows default firewall.
          * Installation of Microsoft security updates.
          * Installation of Microsoft Hot fixes
          * Services pack (As per the client requirements)
