If it's enabled and set to do that then yes, it is normal.

You can disable backups in WHM.

I think there is a folder /home/backup and it must be doing a nightly backup or something.

Is this normal? Seems to be filling up our hd.

    Hi,

Login to your server via SSH and run the following command to check disk space uses so that you will get Idea.

    Code:
    cd /
    du -sch *

  • WHM Showing 40GB used on new VPS with only a few accounts

We have new VPS and it is now showing 40 GB of disk space used but the total of our cPanel accounts is showing about a total of 5 GB.

We have had certain trouble moving accounts so it might be related to temp files left by the backup process that is left behind after each attempt?

If it is so then how would I resolve this?
Working...
