Tell me What is the benefit of extra VPS IPs and Why need extra IPs

  • #2
There are just two valid reasons for adding extra IP addresses in my opinion: volume (in terms of time) and having different email channels or mail streams

There are some factors to know how many IP addresses you need, such as:
        a) Budget
        b) Reputation for Deliverability
        c) IP Warm-up Time
        d) Risks Versus Rewards

To buy additional IP addresses for a virtual machine:
            • Log in to My20i.
            • Select Manage VPS from the My20i dashboard.
            • Select Options > Manage for the VPS in question.
            • In the VPS management dashboard, select Manage IP Addressing.
            • Under Buy IP Addresses, select Order IP Address

              Benefits are as follows:
              1. Dedicated IP addresses have one significant advantage. Your site will be blacklisted if you share an IP address with another user who engages in spamming actions and ends up on a blacklist.
              2. If you send emails to other people from your domain, the blacklisting mail server will ban all emails from your store. As a result, those who use dedicated IP addresses have complete control over their reputation and do not have to worry about the actions of other users, even if they share a server.
              3. Using a dedicated IP address can also help with compatibility issues with outdated browsers and applications that don't support SNI. This is especially true for stores that cater to a largely foreign audience.

This is a widespread misunderstanding that arises from the confusion of a dedicated IP address and a dedicated server, which are not the same thing.
