  • Squidanalyzer error

    Hello,

I installed squidanalyzer-5.4.tar.gz, by using this tutorial SquidAnalyzer: Squid log analyser and follows the same steps which is recommended but when I run the test server Test Server | TestServer.com I get the following error
You don't have permission to access /squidreport/ on this server.

    Thank You

Any normal file system privileges on the directory are not correct for web access, or, may be, /usr/local/bin/squid-analyzer has not produced any reports yet and the directory does not have a index.html document. Check your webserver error log on the cause of the fault.

There are the two chance of quidanalyzer needs logs file to produce report like below
      # cd /etc/squidanalyzer
      # squid-analyzer /var/log/squid/access.log
      # squid-analyzer /var/log/squid/cache.log
than check the above link you should definitely get the log online.
And the second thing is squidnanalyzer may work based on cronjob. so might be crontab did not work for your system check crontab (make sure crontab need postfix to work). so if crontab is not working would not automatically produce report.
