U.S. resident, currently I am using a raw unmanaged
dedicated Centos linux box for $59 / month through Datashack.net
sited in Kansas City USA .
OS is Centos with added Gnome based GUI, all software user-installed
and managed by myself. Hardware 24gb DDR3
memory, Dual Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5520 @ 2.27GHz
for 8 cores, 16 threads . I don't have database requirements,
this is online trading but do need a linux GUI so need
unmetered network data for broker feeds, and GUI transfer. This is
a barebones server with no managed support at all.
I run my own serious Java software so I need memory and
as many CPU threads as I can get.
Can I find a comparable deal sited in the UK ?
