  • Solving No reverse DNS (PTR) entries error message on server

Hello all, I added my free ip`s a couple of days ago to these sites...

    www.sea-fishing.org

    www.christchurchdorset.com

    http://www.online-gaming-forums.com

    http://www.sandbankspoole.com

    http://www.metaldetectingforum.co.uk

Unfortunately on all of the domains from the intoDNS website I get this type of error for each?

Reverse MX A records (PTR) ERROR: No reverse DNS (PTR) entries. The problem MX records are:
103.171.75.109.in-addr.arpa -> no reverse (PTR) detected
You should contact your ISP and ask him to add a PTR record for your ips

    thanks for any help here
    Cheers

These are the warnings for rDNS not set to the IP's added on the dedicated server. This should not affect the emails as well as websites on the server. Emails are sent though the shared IP on the server. So, rDNS should be set to the shared IP.

If you still wish to set rDNS on the additional/dedicated IP's, send an email at dedicated[@]webhosting.uk.com.
