  • Which is better Plesk Onyx or Obsidian?

I'd like to utilise Plesk, thus I'd like to know which one is superior.

  • #2
Plesk Obsidian is superior to Plesk Onyx since it includes PHP 7.4 and PHP 8, as well as improved performance.

Plesk Obsidian is more robust than its predecessor Onyx, reducing the chances of downtime.

Plesk Obsidian distinguishes itself from the previous version of Onyx by integrating the security tools ModSecurity and Fail2ban.

Out of the box, it's more secure, resilient, helpful, and faster. Available. Plesk now comes with an SSL/TLS certificate from Let's Encrypt installed by default.

If you want to use a comparable control panel across numerous servers, Plesk is a better choice.

Plesk's control panel provides separate licences for 10-30 websites, and if you have fever sites, it turns out to be less expensive. cPanel, on the other hand, maybe a more cost-effective solution if you have a large number of sites.

Follow the steps to install Plesk on windows:

                        1. Use RDP to log in to the server.

                        2. Download the Plesk Installer.

                        3. Open the Windows command prompt and switch the working directory to wherever you saved the installer binary, then run this command: plesk-installer.exe --console.
