  • How to enable the DNS cluster using WHM?

I'd like to enable the DNS cluster and find out more information about it.

A DNS cluster is a set of nameservers that exchange information. This allows you to segregate the nameservers that handle DNS requests from your cPanel and WHM servers physically.

        For enabling DNS cluster:
        1. Log in to WHM.
        2. Choose the “Cluster” option from the left-hand side of the screen.
        3. You will find two options. Select “DNS cluster”.
        4. Hit the “Enable DNS clustering” option.
        5. Click on the “Return to status cluster”.
        6. Here you can make changes in the settings.

Name servers convert a domain name into an IP address, bridging the gap between the information that people can understand and information that computers can understand.

It's the server that keeps track of a domain's DNS records, such as A records, MX records, and CNAME records.

Yes, in simple words the domain name is the street address of the house where your website files exist if your web hosting account is the house where your website files live. Nameservers instruct the internet where to look for a domain name's associated website address.
