When to use Plesk for Email Routing?

If you provide an email hosting service, you must take care to ensure that the email service remains functional. If the primary server crashes, email routing in Plesk allows you to continue receiving mail on a backup server.

Follow these steps to do email routing:
1. Enter into the Plesk
2. Click Websites and Domains
3. Select Mail Settings.
4. Untick the “Activate mail service on this domain” option and click Ok.
It is that easy. Just have to follow 4 steps.

I always use the Email routing feature. As it allows the emails to come on the backup server.
