  • Best reasons to use cloud

When web hosting, businesses have a lot on their plate and the decision of how to host can be a tough one. But a lot of businesses are turning to clouds for these reasons cost effectiveness, flexibility/scalability, and high redundancy.

There is a term that I find to be very confusing. High redundancy is a good thing. But by the sound of the term redundant you would think it was a bad thing. I got made redundant at a job once and I lost it. What does the term redundancy mean in cloud computing that makes it good?

Don't get confused... Webhosting UK Cloud hosting environment is based on number of different servers to form a cluster which ensure that there will always be at least one server available to cope up with the load on the cluster or to replace a crashed server thus all servers & storages are redundant which ensure you 100% uptime guarantee.
Redundancy is most vital part in Cloud Hosting which differs it from other traditional hosting solutions.

I think cloud hosting is a next generation hosting technology which will going to provide 100% uptime guaranty. The most important factor of cloud hosting could be Resource Scheduler (DRS), Distributed load, Root SSH / RDP Access with Instant Reboot Capability which will also comes with the dedicated IP last but not the least dedicated Memory / CPU .

Yeah, and if you are going to webhost a social site, a wiki like site, or even something like Amazon, then it is the perfect solution that can grow with you as you need it to.

Yeah, recently auto-bloging is getting more and more popular, ppl just love to setup a blog and set it for auto-posting just to increase content and hence traffic... lol

How would you set it for autoposting? Would you write up or collect all the content and then it just posts on schedule, or does it get the content from someplace else? Never heard of it!

very true.. I think those are the features of vmware.. indeed a reliable solution. the best part is it gives you complete access for your server. So reliability along with complete control on your server.

                    Hi
Wordpress offers you many Autoblogging plugins which you can install and can active to proceed with auto-blogging.
eg.. WPeMatico, is for autoblogging, automatically creating posts from the RSS/Atom feeds you choose, which are organized into campaigns,.

Well, i will avoid using such automated tool since nothing can beats original content and written by a human being.

I think the best part of Cloud servers is the Technology used in the setup of it. It is setup on a Cluster of servers which will offer you a 100% uptime. Its also scalable and the resources can be upgraded at any point of time without much of a downtime.

I think 100% uptime is what makes cloud popular. The hosting is spead across the cloud. Mainly users need uptime for their website

Yes, I completely agree with davedj. 100% uptime is the most important feature which is offered by our Cloud servers. There are many users who don't want their website to be offline even for a single second. So for all these customers, Cloud server is a ideal solution to go with.

Here are the reason why we should use cloud computing:

                              1. No hardware required - No need to buy and setup expensive hardware or do upgrades to keep abreast of the latest technology trends.

                              2. Free up your IT department - Reduce costs in the IT department by removing the whole burden of managing servers and network gear.

                              3. No more expensive servers to run - By hosting software and data centres remotely — out in the “cloud” and accessible via the Internet — companies can reduce their costs and the whole burden of managing servers and network gear.

                              4. Security - Cloud companies invest vast sums of money on security, employing leading experts and buying latest technologies to ensure their customers are protected.

                              5. Faster development life cycles - Software as a Services (SaaS) – SaaS development can deliver fully functioning applications and in far less time than traditional custom software development projects, allowing you to take advantage of new opportunities for customer acquisition, customer retention, and workflow improvement.

                              6. Subscriptionbased service - As your business grows so can your cloud application as you can simply add more users to the cloud applications and just as easily scale back the costs if required.

                              7. Easily switch from cloud to cloud - As the Cloud computing market grows and competition heats up the cloud service provider offering the best value and service will get the customers.

                              8. Easy access - All you need to access your cloud platform is an active internet connection.

                              9. No or very little downtime - Cloud computing removed the need for business to run expensive and time consuming back-up processes, onsite and off side storage facilities for the backed up data.

                              10. Collaboration - This removed the need to long email threads with different people pitching in different points with repeated requests or changes and the document owner spending a day trying to keep track of it all
