  • keywords order in title

I read something interesting that might be helpful for keyword planning. Google spiders give more weight to the first words that appear in the title of your page. Therefore, it helps to begin each page title with your main keywords.

That's how I try to create my page titles, using as few words as possible other than the keywords. I do the same thing with the headings for each section of text.

I believe it's a grey area, no one except Google can actually predict the keywords that the spiders would first take into consideration. Having your primary keywords placed at the beginning within a page title was something that was used by many webmasters in the past with a view to getting ranked higher in the SERPs. But, after a couple of recent updates introduced by Google, we get to see the pages that contain the brand name in the title appear more in the search results.

Though, one can do a split test to monitor the preference and choose the one with the best performance.
