SEO is not some special 'geek' magic trick with html that will make your site popular overnight it's about polishing an existing site so that MAYBE it can be made to move it up the rankings one or two positions.

Good fresh content is crucial, just copying other reviews will keep your site well down the rankings where nobody will find it. You could try signature tagging in forums to raise awareness of the site but that's hard work, adwords is another way but that costs money.
