Personally I would avoid it, the ranking of sites it gives is meaningless and it also tracks your surfing information.

I think an Alexa toolbar is extremely important. It can be installed on any browser. Alexa toolbar is extremely important as it provides with the generally accepted global rankings for websites. Alexa ranks blogs or websites on the basis of traffic density.

Yes, even i don't believe in Alexa ranking which is based on it's toolbar searches and rank accordingly. You only get approximate traffic details which can be manipulated

Other way that you can install a alexa toolbar is go tools then addon in mozilla & then search on get a new add on "sparky".
