Submitting links to directories is beneficial in gathering back link point of view. Better category selection, featured listing will give good back link which will be helpful in getting good ranks in Search Engines.. Participating in forums and blogs will give traffic as well as back links to the site..

Yeah, submissions in Blogs and forums would pool-in traffic from humans as well as search engine bots whereas directory submissions would improve search engine bots IMO.

peter & whuk is good suggest you... Directory submission is the one of the easy way too build a back links. And blogs & forum is also good from it you make good traffic .

A directory submission is worth and helpful only if inbound link are do follow and approved for a long time period.
