I want some suggestions on which hosting to be used, Linux or windows?

In simple terms, Linux hosting is compatible with scripting languages like Perl, Python, PHP and supports MySQL database. Linux uses the cPanel control panel to manage your hosting account. But Linux is the most cost-effective and more secure solution and that's why most web hosting providers choose it.
On the other hand, Windows hosting supports technologies like ASP.Net, Microsoft SQL. The Plesk control panel is used when you choose Windows hosting. Windows hosting is more expensive than Linux due to licensing fees associated with Windows.
