The quality of tech support has dropped to a very low level. Ignoring for the moment the poor live chat issues on another thread, there are things in common with my recent experiences.
1) It is as if tech support has moved off-shore and English is waaay from being spoken well.
2) I detail a recurring problem and the steps taken to fix it and provide links and details. I get a reply asking what I did to fix the problem and they will fix it. I can fix the problem, I just want them to stop it occurring. The answers to ALL the techs questions were in the OP. The problem is a blank page displaying instead of the login/registration page on my phpBB forum at 4-uk-gdps • Index page. The fix takes less than a minute.
3) This happens on live chat too.
This is typical of my recent experiences with tech support and the standard has dropped from being the jewel in Web Hosting UK's crown to an unmitigated disaster. Tech support used to be so good I almost enjoyed having problems.
