    Hi,

    We're in need of reliable business hosting shortly, however there are a few issues we have with another hosting company which we'd be looking to avoid this time around.

    First off, is the tech support call centre based in the UK? Outsourced call centres are useless when your query goes beyond that of the scripts that they have. Whenever support is required for a more advanced topic it becomes a real nightmare trying to get across the issue. For this reason, the location of the tech support call centre is enough to sway us to signing up with Web Hosting UK or to looking elsewhere.

    We require access to modify our site's php.ini, as well as adding packages to the PHP installation through PEAR. In addition, we may need to connect to the MySQL database from a number of different URLs hosted on various other servers. Would this be possible with a hosting package from yourselves?

    First off, is the tech support call centre based in the UK?
    Our main office is based in the UK and our technical staff primarily functions from the UK office only. However, we do have office based outside the UK. They often work during off-peak hours.

    Yes, it is possible with us. Also, you can create multiple MySQL accounts from a number of different domains. I would recommend you to consider VPS or higher plans. With VPS, we offer full root SSH access. You can not only install any applications you need but also monitor it with external monitoring tools.
